ON-SITE INFORMATION

The Registration Area is located at IFEMA Congress Venue, North Convention Centre (NCC), North Entrance:

  • Only the participants belonging a valid registration confirmation (QR-coded voucher) are allowed to access the IFEMA Congress Venue from the South Entrance and walk through the Avenida in order to reach the Registration Area
  • The attendees unable to present their registration confirmation or who still need to be registered are requested to enter directly from the North Entrance
  • From Wednesday, 9 October at 8:00 am, scan your personal QR-coded voucher (it has been sent out to your account upon completion of your online registration) at the Self-Printing Machines placed within the Registration Area in the North Convention Centre to obtain your badge.
  • Kindly note that your name badge is the official Congress identification document and should be worn at all times in order to gain entry into the Conference Centre and be admitted to booked activities and sessions.

Along with the personal name badge, entitled attendees are receiving a voucher to collect their Transportation Pass. The personal travel card can be picked-up at the appointed Transportation Pass Collection Desk. For more details concerning the zones covered by the pass click here.

  • Participants can register online also when the event is running already. Online payments are possible by credit card (Visa and MasterCard) only
    → after 25 September, some special categories might be not available online but only on-site starting from 9 October on.
  • On-site registrations are possible as well: payments are accepted by credit card (Visa/MasterCard) and debit cards. Cash payments are also allowed.
  • The registration counters are located in the Registration Area within the North Convention Centre (NCC) and are open from Wednesday, 9 October 2019 until Sunday, 13 October following below opening hours:

  • Participants opting for an on-site registration might fill out the below On-site Registration Form in order to gain time. Please print out the form and hand it to the EADV Staff at the registration counters.

→ Residents/Students: do not forget to bring the Proof of Status and Passport for validation

→ Nurses: do not forget to bring the Medical License and Letter of Sponsorship for validation

  • Exhibitor badges are restricted to exhibiting companies’ staff only.
    Satellite badges are restricted to Industry Session (Satellite session or Industry Hub sessions) organizers’ staff only. These badges are not available for general public.
  • Before the event, exhibitors can be registered online by the company’s contact person only.
  • On-site registration is not recommended. However, last minute registrations are possible at the appointed Exhibitor Desk located in the Registration Area of the North Convention Centre, following below opening hours:

Each EADV Speaker is requested to pick-up their personal name badge at the appointed Speaker Desk located in the Registration Area of the North Convention Centre (NCC). Please allow sufficient time before the speech.

All session rooms are equipped with LCD projection for PowerPoint presentation. Speakers are asked to hand in their presentation at least 3 hours before the lecture if not already uploaded earlier. The Speaker Preview room is located on the first floor of the venue, between Hall 7 and Hall 9.  Should the presentation take place during the first time slot of the morning, they are kindly asked to hand in their PowerPoint presentation the day before. During this process, Speakers will also be requested to fill in a webcasting permission form.

Both journalists who are working for and representing recognised news organisations as well as freelancers are encouraged to attend the meeting as Press Representatives.

The registration under the Press/Media Representative category is granted only to journalists or media representatives in possession of:

  • a valid press card or an appropriate letter of assignment
  • two recent published articles (dermatology or venereology-related, or referring to a previous EADV event)
  • a signed copy of the EADV Embargo Policy
  • the EADV Registration Form for Press/Media Representatives duly filled
